Frequently Asked Questions
Does the SnugEase Bib fit too tightly?
No. The SnugEase Bib will fit snugly because of our unique use of Memory Arms and extra gathered fabric,
but it won't fit tightly. It is very comfortable. Because the Memory Arms retain their shape,
there is no need for fasteners. If you don't use our Secure Snap (and you don't need to),
the Memory Arms will adjust and separate
to whatever degree is necessary to create a snug and comfortable fit.
How can I determine how SnugEase Bib will feel on my baby?
Place the SnugEase Bib on your forearm. You will notice that the SnugEase Bib comes in contact
with your skin all of the way around your forearm but, amazingly, doesn't feel tight anywhere. You can still place
your fingers inside of the neckline with no effort. NOTE: If you are a world class body builder, this test
will not work correctly; your forearms are much much larger than a baby's neck. :)
How do the SnugEase Bib's Memory Arms keep their shape?
A molded stainless steel wire with safe looped-ends is securely inserted under two protective fabric layers within the SnugEase Bib.
Will my baby feel the Stainless Steel Spring Wire in the Memory Arms?
No. The wire does not sit against your baby's neck.
The extra gathered fabric that is located within the Memory Arms is what
comes in contact with your baby's neck.
The wire is actually a very large loop;
It is large enough to fit around an adult's neck.

Can I buy a Snugease at a store in my city?
Please refer to our store locator to find a store that sells the SnugEase Bib. If
your city does not have any stores that sell the SnugEase Bib, you may be able
to get three free SnugEase Bibs. See our Find a New Store Promotion for more information.
You say you don't need fasteners but you have a snap, why?
We have a snap for the parents that want to secure the bib on their older babies, not because a snap is needed for the bib to stay in place. We actually added the Secure Snap based upon customer feedback.
We had received many comments that around 8-12 months, babies using the SnugEase
Bib became aware of it and started pulling it off. Remember, the unique features
that make the SnugEase Bib easy to place onto you baby also make it easy for
you - or your baby - to take it off. If, as your baby grows, she begins to
display her independence by taking off her SnugEase Bib, you can begin to use
the Secure Snap. Check it out on our Bib
Features page.
Another interesting note regarding this question is, as your baby advances
in age, coordination, and motor skills, she will be able to put on her own bib.
Beginning at about 14 months, we began to hand each of our babies their bib to
put on themselves. Sometimes they put them on upside-down but it was a start.
We have also seen our boy turn the bib around and use it as a cape, but that's another story.
Since you have added the Secure Snap, do I have to use it?
No, you do not need to use the Secure Snap. We have never used the Secure Snap with our children. The SnugEase Bib is designed to be the snuggest fitting, easiest to use bib without using any fasteners
. Every parent that uses the SnugEase Bib has the choice to use or not use the Secure Snap.
How do I care for my SnugEase Bib?
The SnugEase Bib is designed to work well and be easy to care for. You can wash your SnugEase Bib in your washing machine with similarly colored items of clothing and you may dry it in your dryer. And, your SnugEase Bib has no Velcro®
, so it won't become entangled with your other clothing.
I have been using the SnugEase Bib for several months and the Memory Arms™ don't
overlap like when I purchased the bib. Is there anything I can do?
Yes. The Memory Arms are molded of Stainless Steel Spring Wire. After significant use, this wire may relax. To fix this, over-bend the arms towards each other to reshape them.
Do you have an exchange policy for defective bibs?
Yes. We guarantee a safe high quality product. For details.
Note: While extremely rare, immediately discontinue use of the SnugEase Bib if the memory
wire punctures the fabric of the bib. Then, notify us and we will replace it.
